Money skills for life

Financial Academy

A practical financial education experience that helps young people ages 11–19 build confidence, make informed choices, and prepare for a stronger future.

How the academy works

Learn today. Plan for tomorrow.

Students take part in six age-appropriate, interactive classes—three in the fall and three in the spring. Hands-on activities, budgeting tools, and take-home resources help students use what they learn at home, at school, at work, and as they prepare for adulthood.

Students who meet the attendance, participation, and activity requirements receive a certificate and recognition at a graduation celebration.
