Keitisha M. Young is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Community Services, a Covington-based nonprofit committed to strengthening children and families through educational support, financial empowerment, community outreach, and strategic partnerships.
Born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, Keitisha has built her life and career around helping people move forward with confidence. As a Realtor, Louisiana Notary Public, licensed life insurance professional, property manager, and business-writing consultant, she brings practical experience in homeownership, financial protection, documentation, and client advocacy to her community leadership.
Her work with Legacy Community Services grew from grassroots acts of service and a genuine desire to help families overcome challenges with dignity. What began as direct support for local families has developed into a year-round commitment to school readiness, holiday assistance, financial education, resource connections, and opportunities that create long-term stability.
Keitisha's vision is both compassionate and forward-thinking: meet immediate needs today while creating pathways toward opportunity and generational success. She believes that when one child is prepared, one parent feels supported, or one family moves forward, the entire community becomes stronger.
Guided by faith, integrity, stewardship, and collaboration, Keitisha works to build trusted partnerships among residents, businesses, churches, civic organizations, and community leaders. She is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of one grandson. Her family is at the heart of her commitment to help create stronger communities and brighter futures for the next generation.
